Showing Up with Intention as Parents in a Pandemic

Join Callan Blount Fleming (Tide Risers NYC Facilitator and CEO of Spark Collective) and Phyllis Bisch LPC (and Callan's mom!) for a conversation about how we can show up with intention while parenting during a pandemic. It's been a challenge- in a moment where emotions are naturally high, we may have let rules slide, we're worried for our kids, and we're having tough conversations, it can feel absolutely overwhelming. We may sometimes wonder: "Where did that version of myself come from?"

In our session, we'll leverage psychology and coaching and a conversation between two women who love each other and you to talk about how we can show up for ourselves first and continue to lead as parents through our values and with joy. And, you'll leave the session with exercises to call on in real time.

Callan Blount Fleming, Founder, and CEO of Spark Collective, Tide Riser Facilitator NYC 2019, 2020,

Callan is the founder and CEO of Spark Collective, a social enterprise that delivers individual, cohort, and organizational leadership coaching, workshops, and culture transformation to create new personal and professional possibilities, one human at a time.

Through her own experience as a working mother, manager of working parents, and a business leader, Callan realized how we’ve designed work isn’t working for parents, and really, for most of us. Spark Collective thus launched a one-of-a-kind, transformational professional development program that supports companies to create the best conditions for working parents. In doing so, Spark Collective helps companies ensure that they are attracting and retaining the high-performing and diverse talent they know will help their companies excel, ultimately transforming workplaces to be inclusive of all.

Callan’s diverse work experience from startups to Fortune 100s and in teaching, finance, non-profit fundraising, and senior leadership roles uniquely positions her to support leaders in a variety of industries and growth moments. She is a NationSwell Council Member, board member for the Alliance for Decision Education, ICF certified coach, and Tide Riser facilitator. Callan lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, daughter, and son.
