Gatherings of Abundance
I’m now back at my desk after several weeks of travel in the U.S. spending quality time with family and friends after a long separation due to the pandemic. Within four weeks I visited folks in New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. The longest time I spent in any one place was in a tent in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it felt like a great luxury to stay in one spot for a whole week, even if that spot was barely big enough for me and my sleeping bag!
During my travels, I was struck by the spirit of abundance in the reunions and reconnections I experienced everywhere I went. This abundant spirit was a great salve to the sense of social deprivation I have felt over the past year and a half. The quality of the time we spend together is now more valuable than ever, and bringing people together with intentionality and in the spirit of abundance is key to creating quality time that is rejuvenating and inspiring.
So I’m thrilled to be back at my desk preparing for our annual Tide Risers summit, Rising Higher: Moving Forward in Abundant Community. If you identify as a woman and would like to explore the abundant possibilities of playing a leadership role in your own life, I hope you will consider joining us for this special series of live, online events. You’ll find more information here.
Also, if you’re gathering people together after extended time apart, check out these tips and tricks that may help you create gatherings of abundance. I’ve learned these strategies over the years of running Tide Risers and I hope they will be useful to you!
